MINING 

HYDROPERATION

Mining Hydroperation proposes a cooperative system of mining and remediation to re-operate hydrological network and generate resources production. Tako Pid Tong as a post-mining site is a platform of the system initiation. To mitigate the contaminated land that result from mineral separation process, Phytoremediation is used as a method of ecological reclamation and the plants produced will later be able to be exploited for  food production and energy generation. Wastewater is produced from mining process and energy production will be treated before sending clean water for irrigation and lowland area. The whole system acts as a close loop of energy flow.  The project introduces a new mind-set of mining operation as a reserved and productive system rather than a destructive process.
